He attended Christ Church of Lake Forest. Scott was engaged to Nicole Valdecanas. He had a deep love of music through his writing, singing, and playing the guitar. (Scott was a published poet.) Scott will be sadly missed by all.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Survivors include his mother, Rosalynne (Keith Skaathun) Giacomel of Hawthorn Woods, IL; his father, Gary S. Proskin of PA; brothers, Richard (Rachel) Lann of Wonder Lake, IL, Ryan (Amy) Lann of Ft. Worth; one step-sister, Bobbie Proskin Shaffer of PA; step-brothers, Gary (Jen) Proskin Jr. of PA and Tory Skaathun of Hawthorn Woods, IL; maternal grandmother, Genna Miller of Pleasant Prairie, WI; paternal grandmother, Ruth Waskowitz of FL; paternal grandfather, Raymond Giacomel of PA; one aunt, Pam (Bob) Kelly of Winthrop Harbor, IL; one uncle, Ray (Debi) Giacomel of SC; many cousins, including Alisha (Tracy) Grinus of Kenosha, WI; and many nieces and nephews.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;He was preceded in death by a step-sister, Shelly McGowan; maternal grandfather, Buck Miller; and twin brother, Steve &amp;quot;Steve&amp;quot; Proskin.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 13, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. at Christ Church Lake Forest, 100 North Waukegan Rd., Lake Forest, IL 60045.
